Description Seeking a Cash Applications / Accounts Receivable Clerk in Ann Arbor MI. This role is 100% onsite with NO REMOTE option. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain accounting knowledge and grow their career. If you have at least two years of experience in accounting and you are eager to learn and grow, this role might be for you. In this role, you will work directly with the CFO. Work Schedule is Monday 9:30am- 6pm and Tues - Fri 9:00am-5:30pm. Pay up to $22/hr and this is a long-term opportunity. Only apply is you meet the requirements.

Primary responsibilities for the Cash Applications / Accounts Receivable Clerk:

• Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances.

• File and organize customer remittances

• Manage incoming emails regarding payments and customer accounts.

• Coordinate with customers to resolve payment issues.

• Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and credit hold.

• Prepare and maintain daily bank deposits.

• Apply and post payments to customer accounts

• 2+ years of experience with general accounting systems a plus

• Highly motivated individual with ability to work independently and problem solve.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

• Ability To:

o Meet deadlines and work in a team environment

o Handle confidential information in a discreet, detail oriented manner

o Adapt to change
