Description

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for the oversight of human resources transactions and appropriate mandatory reconciliations for assigned operating unit; works as a team member to provide high level customer service to all employees; conveys and manages highly sensitive information while maintaining the utmost confidentiality; prepares, analyzes, interprets, and presents data for special projects and ad hoc reporting; in collaboration with the Human Resources team, ensures all EHC policies and procedures are followed and ensures supporting documentation conforms to EHC guidelines.

  • Some positions in this classification may provide assistance with employee relations functions. Communicates and counsels staff related to conflict management.

  • Ensures corrective actions are complete and entered in the HRIS system.

  • Conducts exit interviews and assists with employment investigations as necessary.

  • Responsible for managing contract labor, including reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with EHC's guidelines and ensuring appropriate orientation is completed.

  • Assists with coordinating benefit related events, wellness and employee engagement initiatives; onboarding document processing, file maintenance (regulatory files), facilitating operating unit New Employee Orientation along with other organizational development courses.

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and prioritizing day-to-day operations and handling a variety of tasks and duties as it pertains to changes in workload, assignments, and pressures of deadlines.

  • May serve back-up to the Human Resources Assistant/Human Resources Assistant, Sr. as necessary.

Demonstrated political acumen and initiative to exercise excellent judgment, tact and diplomacy in handling highly confidential and sensitive matters. Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral, written, and communication skills to communicate clearly, effectively, tactfully, flexibly and patiently in person, on the telephone, and in writing. Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and process high volume of work. Extensive experience to independently plan, organize, and prioritize daily operations and projects in order to meet rigid deadlines. Excellent proofreading and editing skills. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify problems and use creativity to develop innovative solutions.
