Product Manager at Travelport LP in Atlanta, GA.

Perform product management for sales and marketplace technology in the travel industry, determining the demand for products and services and identifying potential customers. Identify customer needs by creating clear and defined features and lean business cases. Research and collaborate to understand and document customer needs, validate solutions, and support portfolio work. Identify market trends and incorporate customer feedback to enhance API offerings. Play a key role in shaping sales technology through effective digital design and product management. Ensure product delivery success by executing on Product Management best practices in an Agile environment. Working in an Agile team, leverage Agile methodologies to drive project execution and continuous improvement. Work closely with Agile development teams, ensuring the successful implementation of API technologies using Agile product development practices, including Scaled Agile frameworks. Ensure product financial and market success. Collaborate with the Product Marketing team on general market sensing, defining the target customer, what problems they have, and the needs the product will address, developing understanding of how the product measures up to competition, and what makes it unique. Research and stay up to date with market, design thinking, technology, and competitor trends through the appropriate use of tools, resources, and stakeholders to qualify new product pipeline opportunities. Utilize tools like JIRA and Postman to track project progress, manage tasks, and conduct API testing. Demonstrate proficiency in API technologies, including XML and JSON, to design, develop, and troubleshoot API. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements related to API technology and digital design. Coordinate release contents and schedule with development leadership, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of changes to release dates or content. Deliver product information and demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders. Hybrid work schedule.

The position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer science, business administration, engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or in digital design and product management. Stated experience must include product management for sales or marketplace technology in the travel or airline industries; working in an Agile team; Agile product development practices including Scaled Agile; JIRA and Postman; API technology including XML and JSON; and API and design.
