The Senior Data Architect plans, designs, develops and maintains the data architecture, data models and standards for various Data Integration projects. This position is proficient in data requirements gathering, data modeling, data extraction, transformation load ETL routines, ad-hoc querying and data visualization. The Senior Data Architect has oversight of the population, automation and maintenance of metadata. This role will be active in monitoring and facilitating data governance insuring that data quality is a priority.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree: Information Science, Applied Mathematics and 5 years or more of experience in data analysis, report writing, ETL development or relational database development. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Skills required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills; Applied math and statistics; Data visualization and Data migration; Foundational database skills/RDMS; Database management system software; Databases i.e. NoSQL, cloud computing.
Preferred Requirements
Master's Degree: Information Science, Applied Mathematics. 10 years or more of experience in data analysis, report writing, ETL development or relational database development.
