ReSound Senior Embedded Engineer in Ballerup, Denmark

Would you like to shape and build our software solutions together with professional colleagues in a small team working dedicated to our low-power technology creating new innovative products for advanced hearing protection?

In the role of (Senior) Embedded Engineer, you will participate in all software development phases and take ownership of the embedded software deliveries in product projects, as well as participating in the ideation, specification, and development of the software domain.

A central aspect of your job will be to provide innovative and effective solutions to the software system in general as well as the specified features and assure high-quality design and implementation. Also, during the integration iterations, you will support the debugging and contribute to solving any challenges.

Sparring, code refactoring, peer reviews, improvements, and knowledge sharing will also be part of your daily work. Joining us, you become the driving force in our Embedded SW development and will have every opportunity to make your mark on the new solutions we bring to life.

The team you will be part of

FalCom is built on GN’s foundation as a global leader in intelligent audio solutions. We create advanced hearing protection solutions enabling special operations, military, law enforcement and security personnel to communicate in the most extreme environments – all while providing world-class hearing protection.

You will be part of a small independent team of international software, hardware, and mechanical engineers. FalCom develops mission-critical software and hardware for low-power communication solutions that enable our customers to hear more, do more and be more than ever thought possible.

You will be contributing to:

  • Low-power embedded software development (C++ and C)

  • Agile and lean software development

  • Analytically and structured approach, and SW Architectural tasks

  • DevOps build environment, make files, system and unit testing

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • A degree in electrical engineering or similar

  • A couple of years of experience in Embedded SW development for low-power audio products

  • Knowledge of DSP systems and related interfaces

  • In combination with the development of audio products, experience in USB knowledge is a plus

  • Experience with GIT or other source control environments is an advantage

  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English
