Flight Operations Platform Senior Technical Product Manager:

CAE’s Civil Flight Services team is looking for a strong & self-driven Technical Product Manager to help grow our products in the Flight Operations space. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the product and technology teams to deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of products, features, and functionality. Your priority will be seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders like Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners, and Developers.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive the strategic goals of CAE. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across regions. The role requires strong analytical and process knowledge to manage programs in the areas of aviation. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll sharpen your understanding of business processes, while continuing to develop your leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong Business Analysis expertise in an agile framework environment. 

  • Work as a liaison among product stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate features for new functionalities.

  • Maintain and prioritize the backlog, conduct regular grooming sessions, and showcase features.

  • Analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications

  • Possess a good understanding of the technology stack and impact on the final product.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field preferred

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering and application design and development process with at least 1+ year in the Product Management process is preferred.

  • Good Development experience in enterprise application development preferably in Java/J2EE, Microservices, Webservices, UX space

  • Working experience or sound knowledge of Cloud based applications.

  • Good knowledge and experience with SAFe, Agile methodologies and best practices

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities.

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Experience with Rally or similar tools

  • Experience with industry standard design principles, frameworks and patterns

  • Good in handling conflicts

  • Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
