Amazon Senior Technical Product Manager, IPC Capacity in Bellevue, Washington

Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) IPC Capacity team is looking for a visionary Product Manager - Technical to shape how Amazon enables its customers to find the items they need, when they need it, at competitive prices. As a Senior Technical Product Manager for IPC Capacity, you will lead a highly cross-functional initiative to manage how Amazon assigns capacity to its warehouses worldwide. You will work with a diverse group of people spanning a broad range of functions including Software, Science, Operations, Finance and Analytics to build cutting edge solutions to understand what products customers value most, and develop highly scalable supply chain systems and processes to drive execution. This is a high impact, high visibility role with regular engagement with senior leaders across organizations. You will own the end to end product vision and strategy, roadmap, goals tracking and overall execution, working across teams to drive new solutions. You will evangelize new features to stakeholder teams, drive adoption, put in place metrics to track success, and communicate results to a broad range of stakeholders across levels.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience working in high ambiguity, high complexity settings, working with both tech and non tech teams to drive results. The candidate must be a strong problem solver and comfortable with operating both at a big picture strategic level, as well as getting deep into details and system mechanics. Given this is a high visibility role with regular engagement with senior leaders, strong communication skills, both verbal and written is a must. A successful candidate will be customer obsessed, highly analytical, be capable of synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities, and be able to drive influence across teams to drive end to end supply chain execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
