Here’s what you’d do:
The Business Systems Analyst reports directly to the Senior Director, Business Transformation, and aids in the financial system support. Specifically, the role is responsible for supporting relevant aspects of the Company’s financial systems and related transformation initiatives to help safeguard and support the ongoing enhancement of the structure, consistency and integrity of the Company’s business processes and transactional data. This position works closely with corporate accounting, finance, and IT teams, and sustain the BrightView internal control environment.
You’d be responsible for:
Support business systems and related transformation initiatives to optimize utilization of system capabilities and data structure, while maintaining or improving the integrity and consistency of business data entered and stored in those systems
Support other finance and accounting functions in accessing and assessing internal controls implications of business data and information
Support cross-functional requirement sessions to gather, document, and analyze product requirements and functional specs
Understand and support BrightView’s overall control environment, specifically focused on controls associated with business systems and data input/maintenance
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, while handling confidential work with discretion
Support documentation of business requirements
Partner with business users to ensure their ability to self-service data from the systems through system reports and Excel add-ins
Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned
You might be a good fit if you have:
Prior experience in systems analyst role with related bachelor’s degree
2-4 years of experience working with accounting, finance and business initiatives, technical applications and/or information systems projects or equivalent
OneStream or JDEdwards experience a plus
Ability to partner across departmental lines and work cooperatively within and outside one’s own team in order to best serve client needs and exceed client expectations
Actively supports key decisions and promotes a spirit of teamwork to demonstrate the commitment of One BrightView
