Primary Responsibilities:Â Â Monitor all functions the pool area while interacting and providing high level customer service to homeowners and guests.

Â

Skill Requirements:

Â

  • •ÂCustomer Service experience a plus
  • •ÂCurrent American Red Cross or equivalent Lifeguard and CPR Certification required
  • •ÂBasic knowledge of pool operations and safety
  • •ÂMust be at least 15 years of age (working papers required, as needed)
  • •ÂAbility to communicate effectively written and verbal
  • •ÂAttention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities: Â

Â

  • •ÂGreet and register all homeowners and guests when at lifeguard desk
  • •ÂEnforce pool rule, policies and regulations
  • •ÂPerform first aid and water rescue, when necessary
  • •ÂProvide exceptional customer service to all patrons
  • •ÂComplete daily opening and closing procedures
  • •ÂTest pool water chemistry and maintain appropriate records
  • •ÂMaintain clean and sanitary pool, pool area, restrooms and shower areas
  • •ÂPerform other duties and special projects as requested.

Physical Requirements

Â

  • ♣ÂCapable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
  • ♣ÂAble to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
  • ♣ÂMust be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
  • ♣ÂPosition involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.
  • ♣ÂMust be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
  • ♣ÂMust be able to work in small and confined spaces for extended periods of time.
  • ♣ÂMust have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.

  • ♣ÂMust be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.
  • ♣ÂMust be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting from the proper performance of duties.
