Grundfos CBS is seeking an experiencedSenior Key Account Manager – Data Center System Integrators – USA & Canadato join its Commercial Building Services team.This position is on the Data Center team and responsible for growing the Grundfos CBS business with system integrators working in the data center market. This will be achieved by defining, measuring, analyzing, and influencing the activities of existing and new system integrator accounts. This position participates as an active member of the local and global data center vertical team. The territory for this position is USA and Canada. Responsibilities include working closely with the Data Center Lead Key Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Project Manager and wider regional team to foster open dialogue, develop a team environment and culture, create a strong morale and spirit within the team; promoting the sharing of wins, successes and challenges. This position reports directly toVice President of Sales – CBS USAand will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, TX facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support now or in the future.

Your main responsibilities :  

  • Primary responsibility is to grow Grundfos’ market share in the data center industry, specifically by increasing sales to system integrators working in this industry.

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of existing system integrator accounts, in addition to prospecting, securing and opening new direct sales accounts with system integrators in the data center industry.

  • Work closely with the Lead KAM to sell data center projects, participate in industry trade shows and strategically grow Grundfos’ sales in this market. Grundfos employees must be the brand, live the brand, and present the brand.

  • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition in the data center industry.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a market plan, and maintain excellent business relationships with all internal and external market stakeholders.

  • Consistently assess system integrator accounts within the CBS distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with the wider CBS USA and Canada distribution plans.

  • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts, and activities, and will document customer interactions. The Sr. KAM will prepare reporting as needed Take part in continued Education and Training programs and seminars, offered through and by Grundfos, to obtain and advance product, market and technical knowledge.

  • Participate in internal and external data center industry training.

  • Register / Monitor all activities with customer in Global CRM tool

  • Register and nurture opportunities in Global CRM tool according to company policies

  • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts, and activities, and will document customer interactions. The SR. KAM will prepare reporting as needed

Your background

We imagine that you have:   

  • Bachelor's in engineering or technical field (Master's advantageous).

  • 5-7 years of experienceCommercial, sales or equivalent experience. Data center industry experience a strong advantage

  • Experience working on team developing or leading strategies within business environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of the how system integrators operate in the Data Center realm with proven experience of successfully growing pumps and systems business with known system integrators in this space.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of pumps and pumping systems, rotating equipment including electronically controlled pump systems (VFD, controllers, etc.) used within Data Center cooling applications.

  • Ability to develop and deliver effective product presentations for all sizes of audiences for both internal and external customers.

  • Strong ability to influence key stakeholders in buying decision making process.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent PC skills with above average knowledge and use of Microsoft Office application programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as a good aptitude for learning and applying new systems and programs.

  • Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel 30%
