Join the WINNING TEAM at IGT Global! IGT is seeking a Lottery Field Services Technician in Long Beach, CA. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing IGT equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will be part of our award-winning lottery services organization.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Technician maintains service equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified "zone" to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.

• Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.

• Attend driver training and follow IGT vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.

• The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuous operation of IGT equipment, ensuring that our services are always available to our customers.

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning it, and minor adjustments to the malfunctioning component.

• It is essential for the Field Service Technician to communicate accurately and in a timely manner with Dispatchers. This includes reporting activity, arrival and departure times, and providing detailed information about problems and their resolutions.

• Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, bet slips, etc., and track inventory of these items.

• The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering basic training to new Retailers or providing refresher/remedial training to Retailers who may be performing procedures incorrectly. This is a key part of ensuring the correct use of our equipment.

• Complete primary forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for procedure improvements, etc.

Qualifications

• Education RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Technical or I.T. I.T.-related training or education is a plus.Experience Required2+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience.Skills RequiredKnowledgeable in electronics, data communications, or related areas of expertise.Must be able to climb, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.Must be able to sit and drive for prolonged periods.Demonstrate skill when working with tools, moving parts, and electrical current.May work at heights for equipment installation, work in close quarters, and be exposed to inclement weather during some installations.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $19.47- $23.68 The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
