Description and Requirements
Innovation is at the heart of Motorola, but it doesn’t stop with our Smartphones, it is in everything that we do. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Account Specialist for Motorola and you will report to our Senior Business Development Manager, Motorola (based in the UK).
Your primary duties are:
Responsibility for ensuring the quality and completeness of customer Smartphone submittals and milestones
Ensure that critical issues are addressed prior to launch. Provide regional/carrier input into RRR risk assessment
Facilitate Motorola development engineering staff and make sure that team is addressing the prioritized customer issues
Provide new carrier test cases to field engineering team
Assessing and negotiating product compliance to customer requirements, establishing back end product schedule, and obtaining customer approvals
Execution of tests of static functionality and personalization of equipment
On-site support in the execution of homologation tests (Static and in Movement)
Escape Defect Analysis with Field Test Engineer team
Support on technical assessment of marketing material definition
Your key responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Systems Science & at least 2 years of professional work experience
Fluent English and fluent Egyptian language
Creativity and negotiations skill to be able to speak with the customers
Availability to travel (approximately 20%)
Your Qualities/Skills:
Usage of cellular equipment and basic knowledge of the Android operating system
Knowledge of Smartphone technology such as display, camera and Radio Frequency; Software architecture and process knowledge
Knowledge of IP telecommunications networks, cellular networks (WiFi, Bluetooth, USB) and cellular communication technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, VoLTE, VoWiFi and others)
