CIBC Product Control Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

Responsibilities

  • Post GL entries daily and reconcile differences with stakeholders.

  • Produce derivatives and securities financial and regulatory reporting.

  • Manage month-end process for accurate and timely entries and reconciliations.

  • Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory requests.

  • Develop and document streamlined processes.

  • Cross-train and serve as backup to other team members.

  • Assist in other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

  • CPA highly preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • 3-5 years of financial statement and/or regulatory reporting experience.

  • Background with collateral, interest rate/foreign exchange derivatives, or bonds helpful, but not required.

  • Detail oriented and well-organized, ability to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
