The FPA Manager position will be responsible for performing financial analysis and reporting for IT’SUGAR and interact regularly with the senior management team. This role requires an individual with a solid financial modeling background, a fervent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical capabilities. This individual must also thrive in a dynamic and high-energy environment. This role will support IT’SUGAR Finance organization and its broader objectives and will also perform ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the members of IT’SUGAR finance and other functional departments to support existing and new reporting.

  • Accurate and timely preparation of weekly/monthly reporting of results and business metrics with an understanding of the key drivers and the ability to articulate the results.

  • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual P&L and cash flow forecasts and budgets. Development of additional tools or metrics to help understand and evaluate the results.

  • Analyze and report changes of actuals versus budget, forecast and prior year, as well as, highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Be a business partner, providing ad-hoc financial analysis and related recommendations to support key financial and/or operational decisions.

  • Support the long-range planning, annual budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring timely completion and utilization of accurate, reliable financial models.

  • Support preparation of subsidiary month-end financial reporting packages, Board presentations, and Management Reports.

  • Identify and execute process/reporting improvements/automation.

  • Support new projects and company initiatives as the case may require.

  • Analyze the weekly and monthly cash flow projections, identify variances, and recommend improvements to increase the reliability and accuracy of cash flow projections.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting.

  • Assist in the preparation or review (as applicable) of valuations prepared for internal or external purposes (including, but not limited to, valuations performed for annual goodwill and intangible impairment testing, long lived assets).

  • Construct various financial models to analyze new projects and initiatives, analyze trends, and evaluate profitability.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to reporting and analysis.

  • Develop and maintain PowerPoint presentations as needed.

  • Managing financial aspects of special projects by determining key drivers, driving the right set of analyses, and presenting the conclusions.

  • Product margins and performance (also Business Unit performance).

  • Evaluate current processes and make recommendations for changes as needed.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master of Business Administration preferred.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting operations and financial reporting.

  • Public Accounting experience preferred

  • Transactional accounting experience a plus

  • Knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles

  • Ability to analyze data for multiple purposes, such as forecasting, investment analysis, and identifying potential weaknesses.

  • Ability to utilize software programs to access financial data.

  • Ability to utilize software programs used in financial modeling; primarily Excel.

  • Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to details and accuracy.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills.
