Trane Technologies is hiring a Project Manager, Digital Initiatives who will be deeply engaged with Trane Technologies’ digital strategy and will perform detailed research and analysis around digital trends within the industry. Will stay abreast of all digital trends within Trane Technologies, its competitors, and in the market. Will present findings, offer feedback and recommendations to the core digital leadership team and other key stakeholders. Works closely with Digital Operations Manager and office of the CDO to aid in the direction of Trane Technologies’ digital strategies.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Davidson, NC office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research around best in class digital tools and technologies in the marketplace.

  • Evaluate tools and technologies by attending webinars, demonstrations, and industry events. Evaluate applicability of digital tools to business problems confronting Trane Technologies.

  • Ensure that tools and technologies under consideration are aligned with the overall digital strategy of Trane Technologies.

  • Collaborate with product management, digital engineering, and product development teams to rapidly test and prototype digital technologies along with document results and share with all key stakeholders.

  • Incubate new digital technologies in collaboration with our multiple business units in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

  • Take ownership for driving successful project execution and meeting key milestones and deadlines.

  • Provide regular and accurate updates on digital initiatives. Demonstrate a bias for results as opposed to analysis paralysis. Constantly scour the industrial market landscape to identify best practices across verticals for the benefit of the digital SLT.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with project/program management, preferably in the HVAC industry.

  • Ability to do industry research and evaluate digital technologies while being able to present research in a succinct and impactful manner.

  • Ability to work with teams and lead virtual teams that are often spread across the country and globe, along with effective and strong presentation skills.

  • Strong execution and analytical abilities while having a process and outcome-centric mindset.

Base Pay Range: $110,000 to $125,000.

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
