PCB Piezotronics, Inc. Director, Product Management in Depew, New York

Primary Objective:

The Director of Product Management is responsible for all aspects of sales, design and manufacturing of quality, profitable products for a division of PCB. Works with Senior Management, Operations Management, Engineering Management, Field Sales and Corporate Marketing. Provides leadership to Product Teams.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Directs all product management activities.

  • Develops, maintains and is accountable for a strategic plan which focuses on revenue growth, gross margin improvement, improved quality and increased inventory turns.

  • Integrates Sector and Corporate strategic plans into product development plans with input from domestic and international sales management.

  • Coordinates product specific marketing with Sector and Corporate marketing.

  • Coordinates group specific activities and training with the application engineering and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Supports quality concerns, development projects, product improvements and manufacturing improvements with operations and engineering management on a regular basis.

  • Ensures effective communication within Product Management, Sales Management and across other Company departments.

  • Adheres to commitments made with key OEM’s, contract business.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Four-year technical degree or equivalent specialized training

Experience

Over 15 years of experience in a high tech, instrumentation or related industry, closely related to PCB’s markets and technology. 10+ years in a leadership role.

Travel Requirements Moderate to heavy travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

MS or MBA degree preferred

Experience

Field Sales experience is highly desirable

International Traffic in Arms Regulations

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
