Description Robert Half is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to fill a position at a flourishing company. Some of your responsibilities in this role include running financial modeling on a number of financial products and measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will be charged with being responsible for advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. You will join a dynamic team as a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity in the El Paso, Texas, area. We seek someone who has internal drive and strong potential for professional growth and development.

How you will make an impact

• Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

• Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making

• Contribute to weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

• Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

• Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans

• Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process

• Study performance to date and examine potential risks and opportunities

• Candidate that feels comfortable working with large amounts of information and handling expectations

• Amass and monitor forecasting reports

• Power monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

• Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization Requirements - Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

• Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)

• Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Proven knowledge of budget forecasting

• Solid understanding of financial analysis

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Prepare Financial Statements experience

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas
