Job Description

As a Senior Live Action Producer at PXP Studios, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from pre-production planning to post-production delivery. You will work closely with creative teams, department heads, agency producers, and production staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with creative teams, directors, vendors, agencies, and production heads to define project goals, scope, and budget requirements.

  • Develop detailed production schedules and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Hire and manage production staff, including production coordinators, assistant producers, and other crew members.

  • Oversee location scouting, casting, and all logistical aspects of production.

  • Manage day-to-day production operations, including scheduling shoots, coordinating equipment and resources, and resolving production issues.

  • Monitor production progress, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Track expenses and ensure production stays within budget constraints.

  • Collaborate with post-production teams to ensure a smooth transition from filming to editing and post-production.

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other industry professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with brand clients and agency producers to understand project objectives, requirements, and budgets.

  • Advocate and champion of PXP processes.

  • Prepare complex statements of work, with quick turnaround time and minimal revisions. Creates or reviews statement of work documentation; accountable for top-down and bottom-up budgets to ensure scopes accurately reflect required work effort

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Line Producer or Senior Line Producer on multiple successful projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, industry standards, and best practices.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in production software and tools (e.g., AICP, Excel).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • A creative and strategic mindset to optimize production processes and resources.

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $73,500 - $123,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
