We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Manufacturing Data Governance Co-Ordinator as part of our Manufacturing Excellence Team based in Moray!

About the role

This role will sit within a new Digital Manufacturing team to identify, trial, and roll out new digital technologies across the sites.. This role is key to the delivery of new projects, successfully sustaining changes and the improvement of current practices at site. You will be responsible for managing data use across site and bringing this data to life by the creation of dashboards and visuals to elevate our site performance. Your experience of digital technologies and applications will allow you to support the full optimisation and streamlining of operational processes. You will work with internal and external partners to understand systems and create models and data flows that works with our existing ways of working and technologies. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and a strive to win approach to push boundaries.

Key points you would be responsible for are:

  • Manage data governance within digital projects across site.

  • Work according to glidepath to meet project milestones.

  • Responsible for collecting and aggregating data for multiple uses across manufacturing.

  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all needs are met.

  • Improve how we use existing and new technologies to better utilise and display data.

  • Ensure implemented improvements are standardised and sustained within operations teams.

Ultimately, being able to manage relationships with collaborators in varying levels to ensure deliverables are met and clearly communicate ideas within team and wider site is the pinnacle of the day-to-day achievements in this exciting and varied role.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to train and mentor new projects and processes, and the following skills will set you up for success:

  • Ability to identify and optimise processes using digital

  • Strong IT understanding and problem solving experience

  • Experience in use of various IT and data management and visualisation systems such as Power BI

  • Ability to optimise operational processes using digital solutions
