Position Summary:In the role of ABS India Leader, you will spearhead our efforts to expand our ABS delivery capabilities in India, with the objective being to build and run a multi-disciplinary ABS shared services team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise and lessons learned from other global shared services organizations to expand on our existing ABS capabilities in India, aligning with our firm’s culture and strategic anchors of first-in-class delivery and operational excellence. This role will report directly to our firm’s President and is pivotal in executing our corporate shared services strategy within a highly collaborative, matrixed, global consulting organization.

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring onsite work in our Gurugram office, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement innovative strategies for ABS Shared Services.

  • Exhibit outstanding program management skills focusing on technological advancements (including AI) to streamline service delivery and provide an exceptional customer experience.

  • Serve as the principal coordinator between global ABS functional leads, business executives, and the local team to ensure smooth communication and alignment on service delivery philosophies.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations meticulously by adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining rigorous operating standards.

  • Initiate and propel continuous improvement efforts, integrating feedback to elevate service quality and reduce operational expenses.

  • Establish robust governance frameworks to facilitate the broadening of the scope of services.

  • Provide inspirational leadership to the ABS India team, nurturing a culture that reflects Ankura’s core values, leadership pillars, and operating principles.

  • Shared Services Expertise: You bring over a decade of experience in design, implementation, and leadership within a global shared services framework, ideally managing a team of 150+ resources across diverse functions and international markets.

  • Team Dynamics: Your leadership transcends cultural and geographical barriers, demonstrating a deep understanding of local nuances.

  • Service Management: Your experience managing expansive shared services is marked by a continuous improvement ethos and a penchant for technological solutions, including AI.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in meeting the expectations of key stakeholders, you excel at conducting gap analyses and crafting sophisticated solutions.
