Cindy Bradley is actively recruiting for WEST HOUSTON, growing company in the OIL /GAS/Renewable Energy industry. Client is seeking Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis  to join their team!

Primary Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, automating, and implementing our forecasting and planning tools in collaboration with Accounting and Technology teams

• Managing the company’s annual and quarterly planning processes and corporate-level forecast consolidation

• Developing financial reports for senior management and the Board of Directors and conducting ad-hoc analysis for the executive leadership team

• Spearheading a multi-year long-range financial planning process to help align the company around key financial and operational objectives

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering; Master Degree is a plus 

• 10+ years of experience in an FP& A, Corporate Finance or Strategic Finance role at a high-growth company

• Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills and adeptness in developing recommendations based upon findings

• A talent for relationship-building and strong communication skills, especially with senior management

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Understanding of energy markets and experience with capital project forecasting is highly beneficial

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

This role is office-based and may involve sitting for extended periods of time, repeated motions of the wrists, hands or fingers, and occasional light lifting.

Requirements - Must have superb interpersonal and influencing skills

  • 8+ years of experience in FP& A required

  • 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • Superb qualitative and quantitative skills

  • Must have high business acumen

  • Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • Candidate must be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
