The Role

NetSuite SuitePeople Product Managers are part of a world-wide team pursuing innovative ways of delivering user-centered solutions that provide real value to our customer base. We balance competing product demands to make investment decisions between new features, product enhancements, and sustainability initiatives. We are highly motivated professionals responsible for managing the product lifecycle of cloud business applications and infrastructure created for small to medium-sized businesses.

As the Product Manager, you will work closely with product management leadership, business stakeholders, customers, and the development team to drive the design and development of our US Payroll solution. This role primarily involves facilitating interaction between Workforce Management and US Payroll to meet advanced hourly workforce payment needs.

This role is for someone who wants to be responsible for gathering and prioritizing feature requirements and working with a development team to deliver high-quality products in an Agile environment. We'd like you to be a self-starter who loves to engage with customers to identify problems and collaborate with team members to find the best solutions. Responsibilities

Your work will include collaborating with product management leadership, technical teams, and other stakeholders to enhance and maintain our US Payroll product.

  • Work with Product Management leadership to drive discovery activities and decisions.

  • Define business requirements and user scenarios based on customer input, research and product strategy.

  • Conduct market and competitive research.

  • Research, analyze, and document regulatory changes to ensure that our product offerings and compliance reports are up to date.

  • Collaborate with product management to create roadmaps.

  • Clear definition and prioritization of high-level business requirements, as well as detailed user stories

  • Is responsible for solution reviews and acceptance testing.

  • Work with the development team, through agile methodologies, to deliver quality software and resolve customer defects in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the team’s feature backlog, designs and implementation is aligned with product roadmaps and strategy.

  • Ensure feature releases are planned, documented, and shared as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accountancy with an understanding of technology OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an understanding of Business, or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Analyst, or Product Owner

  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Previous experience interacting with customers, requirements gathering and analysis such as consulting, implementation, or support etc.

  • Unfazed by ambiguity and demonstrate a resilience in adopting change.

  • Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with groups of subject matter experts (SME’s) to build strong relationships.

  • Strong communication abilities in both technical and non-technical contexts

  • Desired Experience:

  • US Payroll experience relating to hourly workforce pay use cases.

  • Familiarity with Workforce Management (includes Time & Attendance & Scheduling)
