Make a Difference

The Associate General Counsel will provide attorney support for general corporate and health regulatory matters for the network. You will work on regulatory transactions including, but not limited to, stark compliance, joint commission research, and IRB medical staff. You will work in conjunction with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel on other legal matters.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral. They should provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers by being proactive, responsive, and encouraging teamwork.

  • Juris Doctorate required.

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience as a practicing attorney, with an emphasis in healthcare regulatory and transaction matters including physician relationships and contracts.

  • Membership in the State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in the State of Indiana is required.

  • Experience in Medical Staff issues is a plus.

  • Effective teamwork skills.

  • Ability to appreciate people with different backgrounds and points of view.

  • Commitment to being accessible and responsive to clients/customers.

  • Possess a high degree of accountability, self-motivation, and drive.

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with key customers.

  • This position is hybrid, working a couple of days a week from home.
