Tasks & responsibilities

• In this role, you will coordinate and supervise all financial matters of global functions of the Global Animal Health Global Innovation (AH GI).

• You will coordinate financial planning and reporting such as budget, Outlook+1, and the Long Term Forecast (LTF).

• In close exchange with local Global Innovation Controllers, you will analyze and control cost developments, personnel capacities, projects, and associated investments (CAPEX). In addition, you will identify corrective measures and improvements.

• Your global partners rely on your expertise and experience in collaborating on projects and negotiations, as well as in contracts and in operational and/or strategic decision-making.

• You will develop, improve, and successfully implement financial concepts and processes.

• Furthermore, you ensure governance and compliance for AH GI.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling

• Several years of experience in controlling, experience from the R&D controlling environment is advantageous

• Understanding of R&D/M structures and procedures for pharmaceuticals and vaccines

• Knowledge about R&D/BD&L businesses, negotiations, and contract conclusion

• Strong team skills and experience in business partnering

• Outstanding communicative skills in English to communicate with stakeholders at various levels and with different backgrounds.
