We are looking for a highly motivated energetic individual for the role of Sales Engineer for Minerals Solutions and Services with proven sales track record. The core responsibilities are technical consultancy, business development and sales development within the assigned corporate account in Minerals segment for a Solution business and Services, in High & Medium voltage Motors & Variable Speed Drives portfolio.

This individual will be responsible for the customer & sales development, driving product specification to the end user as outlined by the Head of IMS ASEAN Lead Bundle & Head of IMS Indonesia

This individual will work closely with the and Head of ASEAN Lead Bundle & Regional Director. He will also need to work closely with Customer Service, Product Portfolio, Partner Management team and cross division in driving the new business opportunities.

You’ll make an impact by

  • To develop sales opportunities pipeline to achieve sales plan objectives and targets

  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with assigned customers, serving as the primary liaison between the organization and its customer. Understand the needs, objectives, and challenges, to develop strategies and to propose a complete solution in application and system.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and customer. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless execution of joint initiatives. Regularly communicate updates, share best practices, and together with product sales to provide necessary training or resources to customers.

  • Contract and Agreement Management: Collaborate with sales, legal and finance teams to negotiate and manage agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Review contract performance, assess risks, and propose amendments or renewals as necessary.

  • Deliver monthly update on progress of the defined key projects with competitive movements and provide market intelligence

  • Strategic Planning: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and provide insights to shape strategic decision-making. Identify areas for collaboration, innovation, and new initiatives.

You’ll win us over by

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification)

  • Have strong technical background knowledge of variable speed drives, induction motors, slip-ring motors & alternators.

  • Minimum 5 years in technical sales

  • Proven success in the supply of large drive system projects or supply contract for electric motors.

  • Ability to handle technical purchase order and evaluate job site criticalities ensure product & system delivery meet customer’s expectations & requirements.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with all the stakesholder

  • Excellent written & oral English communications skill including technical and business understanding

  • Have the ready to serve & support mentality and hands on approach.
