Program Manager, Key Accounts

Location: Remote in US

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Program Manager specializing in key retail accounts to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing retail programs, a deep understanding of the retail industry, and excellent leadership skills. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget while maintaining a focus on key account growth, end customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects for key client relationships.

Specific Responsibilities

Project Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with external retail key accounts, marketing, sales, IT, external partners and other relevant teams to ensure alignment and cooperation.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate and manage project resources efficiently.

  • Coordinate with department heads to secure necessary personnel and equipment for project success.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.

  • Monitor project expenses and report on budgetary performance.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with external partners.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards.

  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain project quality.

Timeline Adherence:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders at various levels.

  • Address concerns and issues promptly, maintaining transparent and open communication.

Post-Implementation Evaluation:

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.

  • Capture and document lessons learned for future projects.

Project Planning:

Execution and Monitoring:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals.

  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues to ensure successful execution.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources efficiently and ensure team members have the necessary tools and support.

  • Coordinate with department heads to secure additional resources as needed.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a retail environment.

  • Strong understanding of retail operations and industry trends.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficient in project management tools and software

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
