Dartmouth Health Digital Content Producer in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

Local/remote position - some time required onsite in Lebanon, NH

The Digital Content Producer is a key member of a diverse Communications & Marketing team, and is responsible for developing content for Dartmouth Health member websites and supporting social media content. The Digital Content Producer’s role includes organizing and optimizing content for a wide variety of audiences, improving the layout of web pages and social content through graphic and user interface design, coordinating processes and operations for website, social and other communication and marketing digitally focused channels.

Responsibilities

  • Works with digital and technical teams, individual staff members, departments, and/or programs to identify, modify, and generate content consistent with editorial, brand, and accessability standards for the Dartmouth Health and member sites.

  • Researches, writes, edits, and implements digitally-facing content.

  • Coordinates with Communications and Marketing colleages to identify appropriate images, enhance, resize, and optimize images, and incorporate images digitally.

  • Collaborates on setting timelines and adhering to priorities, working with manager, team and clients to keep projects running smoothly.

  • Utilizes content management tools for coding content into website.

  • Develops custom page or section layout schemes.

  • Partners with member Communications team to align messaging, content, and to support local stretegic priorities and System goals.

  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

  • Trains Dartmouth Heath staff to use web creation tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in writing, communications, or the equivalent and experience in creating, managing and updating compelling digital and social content with thorough knowledge of design and technical concepts.

  • Demonstrated ability in writing and editing for the web, with thorough knowledge of design and technical concepts required.

  • A background in medicine and/or science preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, creativity, maturity, flexibility, diplomacy, and the ability to work as part of a team required.

  • Proficient in Dreamweaver and basic HTML.
