Position allows for one remote work day per week with the remaining four days onsite at the Fountain Ct. location in Lexington, KY.Job SummaryThe Department of Psychiatry seeks an individual to be responsible for research study protocol implementation, research subject recruitment, coordination and database management for a multi-year research study.This individual will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of a multi-site suicide prevention intervention study focused on young adults. Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI), this individual will be responsible for all phases of project activities, including overseeing data collection and management using electronic data collection methods, communicating with sites, coordination data collection, assisting with staff supervision, interacting with study participants and community partners, and managing any crises or safety events related to participants under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) will involve scheduling research subjects for assessments and tests according to established protocols, reporting and tracking the study progression for those research subjects, and being able to explain the study protocols to ensure research subjects fully understand.This individual will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the assigned Research Coordinator on the administration and collection of assessments and surveys and other research-related tasks. Regulatory documentation responsibilities include preparation of annual reports and regulatory documentation for clinical staff and IRB review and analysis including management of IRB protocol documentation. Prior experience working with research subjects and research projects is essential.This position will be located in the Department of Psychiatry’s research department which is located near the Hamburg area of Lexington at 245 Fountain Ct., Lexington, KY, 40509.
