We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead our GenAI development team and drive the innovation and growth of our AI-powered monetization solutions.Meta Monetization has been investing heavily in generative AI. We first focus on Ad Creation. GenAI empowers dynamic and varied ad creatives. It makes automatic generation and production of diverse ad creatives possible. This dynamic content can be used to keep advertising fresh, preventing ad fatigue and maintaining user interest over time. The efficiency enables liquidity and creating a large volume of personalized and engaging ads cater to different audiences.As the Engineering Manager for our GenAI platform, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of AI strategies to optimize digital monetization. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. You will also play a key role in shaping the future direction of our GenAI platform and driving its success in the market.

Required Skills:

Engineering Manager, GenAI Monetization Responsibilities:

  1. Leading an organization comprised of applied scientists and engineers from prototyping across development and integration of advanced systems relying heavily on Computer Vision and Machine Learning technologies.

  2. Owning the development of system requirements, and collaborating with respective teams to mature and integrate technologies necessary to create product architectures that can deliver these requirements.

  3. Engaging cross-functionally with other researchers and engineers to develop concepts that advance the entire product pipeline across hardware, software, integration, infrastructure, and applications.

  4. Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement.

  5. Recruit world-class talent and provide technical leadership and guidance to both your team members and your project peers.

  6. Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with the engineering and management teams.

  7. Coordinating with research, user research, art, partnership and legal to both define and execute technology development with key partners & suppliers.

  8. Operate strategically and tactically. Working closely with various organizations to define and execute the long-term strategies and roadmaps and help set direction while staying on top of the day-to-day software development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  2. Experience of people management in multi-disciplinary global teams at the intersection of tech and product, including building performing teams and organization.

  3. Experience supporting an engineering and research organization through technical leadership.

  4. Demonstrated experience in recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.

  5. Experience in managing teams productizing Computer Vision or AI/Machine Learning technologies from conception to end.

  6. Leadership and interpersonal communication experience in working across many disciplines, driving best practices, and mentoring team members.

  7. Technical experience in leading teams/projects in one or more of the technical domains of machine perception (i.e., machine vision, deep learning, sensors and robotics).

  1. MS or PhD in a related field of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics or AI/Machine Learning.

  2. Experience managing joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping projects.

  3. Experience in leading teams interfacing with HW (sensors, silicon) teams in setting requirements and product tradeoffs.

  4. Experience being flexible and resilient in a dynamic environment.
