Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test for one of their large media and entertainment clients. This role is fully remote and will be 6 month extending contract. This person is joining the team that is responsible for the internal CMS platform. This CMS platform is more than just a content management system. It's an entire publishing backend service that has client applications built out on the core frontend framework. This team supports all the editorial team content throughout the organization (Sports, TV, News, etc). There are currently 4 SDET's on this team and their focus is to continue to build out the regression testing suite to fully automate test cycles so they don't have to rely on any manual testing. They are working toward automating the automation. This person will be responsible for the frontend testing of new features for the CMS. We are looking for candidates that can create, maintain, and execute test plans. Successful people will understand acceptance criteria that is refined from the development tasks, understand validation, participate in planning, refinement, and ceremonies. This person will work across cross-functional integration testing. For example; publishing workflows -- an Editor is making content modification to the CMS, how does that reflect on the underlying APIs, how is that reference on the front-end client capabilities? Additional responsibilities include picking up a ticket, building out the test plan, automating it, doing the feature level validation and then moving it to regression test plans. The team typically works 10-6 eastern time which would be the preference, but those core 11-4 hours are a must.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of automation testing experience

Experience with frontend testing using tools such as MABL, Cypress, Mocha or Jest.

Experience with JavaScript

Experience testing and automating secure REST APIs testing

Experience in cross browser and cross platform testing

Experience with Agile methodologies and in an enterprise environment null
