Amazon Business Intelligence Engineer, XFN (Cross-Border Fulfilment Network) in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

EU INTech XFN (Cross-Border Fulfilment Network) is looking for a BIE, to support the growth of the XFN Program.

As a BIE, you will collaborate with business partners to identify the opportunities for XFN selection growth, as well as with your tech team to shape the product roadmap. You will be in charge of creating and evolving dashboards, as well as reporting. You will also assist your team with problem or defect detection, correction, and, preferably, prevention.

You will work on a team of SDEs, DE, TPMs, PMT and SDMs and you will be the only BIE on the XFN team, but you will also collaborate with BIEs from business teams and sister teams. It is uncertain whether the number of BIEs on the team will increase over the time, and we cannot guarantee it.

As usual in Amazon, we don't dictate the tech tools you will use, but you will find an environment with mainly quicksight for data visualization, AWS analytics products like Redshift, S3, SageMaker, Lambda, and BDT internal tools (Hoot, Datanet, Cradle).

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab

  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience in the data/BI space

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
