We are thrilled to offer you an opportunity in our team where we endeavour to constantly grow the products, that our Customers are looking for, through our Sellers on our Amazon EU Marketplaces. You will have access to interesting datasets from different aspects of a Sellers journey our marketplaces. You will be able to exploit data to generate insights, find new opportunities, create new initiatives and influence business priorities.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will:
Generate data-driven insights to identify new growth opportunities
Engage with business stakeholders from cross-functional domains and teams
Design and maintain ETL pipelines which consolidate data from different stages of Sellers' journey and experiences on the marketplace
Create business dashboards which enable us to achieve our goals and diagnose issues
Report on business performance, track KPIs and explain variances
Participate to the community of BIEs in the parent team by sharing knowledge, learning new technologies and coaching others

Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and to stay connected with the business reality and priorities
Think creatively about solving business problems through data
Identify opportunities for improvements and new initiatives
Plan your work, communicate timelines to stakeholders and deliver projects
Seek feedback to improve your deliverables
Report on business performance, identify emerging trends and explain variances
About the team
Our team is responsible for the growth of selection that is offered by our Sellers on our marketplaces. This is one of the key pillars of the Amazon flywheel which helps us constantly improve the Customer Experience. You will support 3-5 product managers within the team who will be your primary customers. In addition, we liaise with several different teams in Amazon's ecosystem that own different products, programs and technologies that our Sellers and Customers interact with. You will also be required to learn about datasets from these partners to identify opportunities to enhance our metrics and insights.

Basic Qualifications
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience with SQL
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience in the data/BI space
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.
