Ford Motor Company MP&L Analyst in Mexico City, Mexico

In charge of generate weekly SAMS (Single Order Edit & Amendment System) Reports for all 3rd Party Mod Center facilities for production planning, Process and resolve ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) on weekly bases for 3rd Party Mod Centers, audit new production program pre-build BoM (Bill of Material) events, work with teams to resolves any issues, audit Supplier pre-build releases against pre-build BoM events

Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly SAMS (Single Order Edit & Amendment System) Reports for all 3rd Party Mod Center facilities for production planning

  • Process and resolve ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) on weekly bases for 3rd Party Mod Centers

  • Audit new production program pre-build BoM (Bill of Material) events, work with teams to resolves any issues.

  • Audit Supplier pre-build releases against pre-build BoM events.

  • Provide inputs for the VP (SEO) Global Launch Card.

  • Setup and maintain new/modified parts in CMMS in support of the FIA (Factory Installed Accessory) and 3rd Party Mod Center facilities

  • Process DIO ATP actions to facilitate VP buyer sourcing actions.

  • Process third Party Mod Center ATP actions to facilitate VP buyer sourcing actions.

  • Provide new production Channel part PSW metrics for VP-FS milestone review.

  • Provide new production channel production volume metrics for VP-FS milestone review

  • Provide a monthly 3rd Party Mod Center Production volume matrix

  • Process End of Month part Inventory/financial reconciliation for third Party Mod Center facilities.

  • Process third Party Mod Center Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN)/resolves ASN issues.

  • Process 3rd Party Mod Center purchase orders to support end of quarter vehicle processing

  • Support launch events and VP teams through SAMS (Single Order Edit & Amendment System), BoM (Bill of Material), CMMS, WERS (is an information system that manages and communicates part information to organizations and downstream systems.), build phase timing data/checks.

  • Provide monthly New DC Channel accessory late availability report.

  • Coordinate End of Quarter requirements between assembly plant, constraints, scheduling, and third-party mod center.

  • Champion the development of the third-party mod center releases in CMMS.

  • Coordinate with North America Vehicle Logistics car haul and railcar trials.

  • Coordinate with Global Packaging Engineering supplier packaging trials.

  • Manage RWLS matrix to support dual invoicing for third Party Mod Centers.

  • Support the Launch of Vehicle Personalization content at assembly plant and/or mod center.

  • Complete MP&L Production Channel and Mod Center launch deliverables for VPPDS (Vehicle Personalization Product Development System) Milestone Reviews.

  • Review and coordinate component packaging/container tests.

  • Obtain manufacturing feasibility and cost information to support business case development.

  • Apply lean manufacturing principles.

  • Prepare management presentations.

  • Experience launching new Mod Centers desired.

Qualifications

  • English proficiency - Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience launching GFA & FLA product in Mod Centers desired.

  • Assembly plant launch desired.

  • Experience with various aspects of MP&L required.

  • Program Management experience desired.

  • Highly motivated individual with drive for results and a self-starter.

  • Education Requirement: BS Logistics or Engineering, MBA or advanced degree desired.

  • Strong PC skills with experience using Microsoft Office software required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills working with cross functional teams and all levels of management

  • Strong oral and written communications
