Dowhas an exciting opportunity for aProject Manager. This role can be located inMidland, MI, Houston, TX or Sao Paulo, Brazil, or Mumbai, India!

About you and this role

As the Project manager, you will lead cross functional project teams that deliver business process and IT solutions. This role also leads project planning and management throughout the project lifecycle including the overall delivery of the solution into a successful support model, and is accountable for budget, contingency planning, scope, issue and risk management. Helps improve productivity, streamline business processes, help make better business decisions and enhance customer relationships.

In this role, you will require in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of your discipline or functional area. You will need to understand your discipline's best practices and how they relate to others. You may need to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements as well as serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues. You should also be able to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus with others.

It is your responsibility to analyze and resolve complex problems, examine information from multiple sources, and use judgement to evaluate established and new solutions. Your performance impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and other related teams and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Determines the project approach and schedule, develops and reviews estimates and estimating assumptions, and creates project plan and tracking metrics throughout all phases

  • Manages the overall schedule for project delivery

  • Measures and monitors progress, including phase reviews and deliverable reviews and sign-offs

  • Manages dependencies across projects in the program as well as integration with other projects

  • Manages relationships with all suppliers and subcontractors on the project (monitor progress/adherence to schedule)

  • Works with teams on quality assurance process, manages budget forecasting and cost control for the project, manages project issues, risks and contingency planning and escalates as required

  • Ensures project follows methodology/approach to deliver solution and supports teams on scope change request and schedule implications

  • Performs budget, scope, issue, and risk management tasks by estimating information technology project costs and working with external service providers and processes

  • Completes project performance reports

  • Deliver results by utilizing various delivery frameworks including Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher OR a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. A degree discipline in an Information Technology/Systems is preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
