Sharp Electronics Corporation Product Manager - Production Print in Montvale, New Jersey

Overview

As a Product Manager specializing in Sharp production print toner equipment, you will play a pivotal role in managing our product line's lifecycle and driving its success in the US market. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to meet business objectives, enhance market competitiveness, and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for production toner equipment, aligning with company goals and market trends.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape.

  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market insights and customer feedback.

  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams in Japan to drive product development, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to develop Go-to-Market strategies and ensure successful product launches.

  • Develop pricing strategies and manage product pricing to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Monitor product performance and KPIs, implementing improvements and optimizations as needed.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for production toner equipment, providing training and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, dealers, and industry partners to drive adoption and growth.

  • Assist in the continued updates to the Sharp Executive Experience Centers nationwide to ensure they have the latest equipment with updated software / HW

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, specifically in the print industry with a focus on production toner equipment.

  • Strong understanding of printing technologies, including production workflows, digital printing, and toner-based systems.

  • Knowledge of Color management workflow, calibration and certifications (G7 Expert a plus)

  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching new products in the US market.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.

  • Fluency in English; Japanese language proficiency is a plus.

  • Frequent travel required domestically and internationally as needed

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $82,475 - $141,900. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
