MIO Partners, Inc, is seeking a Quantitative Research Analyst in New York, NY. Work with Portfolio Managers and/or Quantitative Research Managers to scope out the conceptual and technical approaches, find and select raw data inputs, and design the particular research outputs. Responsible for supporting tasks related to creating new research and maintaining existing research. Perform quantitative and statistical analysis related to asset classspecific and cross-asset research for purposes of assessing investment opportunities. Design and maintain systematic tools to monitor trades and automate trade report generation processes. Drive documentation of the research methodology. Actively assist in systemizing MIO's quantitative research including standardizing research production and developing/managing quantitative research database (including metadata maintenance and streamlining), working closely with the Investment IT team. Optimize macroeconomic and financial data sourcing across the team. Support others by implementing and monitoring trades. Communicate complex concepts, ideas, solution approaches clearly and succinctly. Demonstrate expertise in trade execution in specific asset classes, securities, and markets and required analytics. Help PM/Sr. IRM manage trading books. Telecommuting permitted.Qualified applicants must possess Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
