Build, maintain and enhance tools that bridge on-chain data across digital assets into digestible indices such as the Digital Pulse, a gauge that defines the fundamental health of the ecosystem across common metrics. Manage the production of the Digital Daily and ensure contributions are provided in a timely manner for on time release. Produce background work for Digital Index Committee. Support Portfolio Managers on analytic needs. Responsible for automating on-chain analytics tools including risk analyses. Support changes required from the broader team and work in collaboration with cross-functional partners to do so. Telecommuting permitted.Job Requirements: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Economics or in a related field.Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:1.Python programming language such as CSS, HTML and JavaScript2.Python Frameworks, Object Relational Mapper or Python Libraries3.Architecture style employed by APIs including REST, the role of services, messaging and data4.Development of criteria for institutional-grade crypto asset indices that are robust to regulatory requirements, including records to justify actions behind all decisions, GitHub, Geth and an understanding of crypto asset protocol logic5.Portfolio construction of static and dynamic nature built to optimize around parameters such as return, volatility, Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, and drawdowns6.Integrating risk management tools across crypto and traditional asset markets7.Financial risk modelling with an ability to develop a portfolio, validate historic back-testing, monitoring output, and evaluating periodic historic risk in the context of current markets8.Independent writing and support in the distribution of research publications covering macro and micro crypto asset trends9.Building relationships with developers of new technologies and understanding the longer-term forward path of ideas and asset marketsSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.Salary Range: $148,500 to $205,999.
