Research market sector information and analyze data from multiple sources to answer complex investment theses. Coordinate with investment teams on determining research inquiries to investigate, key data drivers and contributions data analytics can make to support their research processes. Work with existing and new data sets to push significant ideas and inflection points to investment teams. Clean noisy and scattered data and build signals to help portfolio managers make investment decisions and generate alpha.Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Associate, Analyst or similar role with an investment banking, investment management or securities business. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field and 2 years of experience as stated, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an Associate, Analyst or similar role with an investment banking, investment management or securities business.
