The salary range for this role, based in New York is $87400.00 to $109,200.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Reporting & Analysis is responsible for supporting the delivery of reporting deliverables including data pre-consolidation and validation, data reporting as well as data final comments and presentations. The role also includes working closely with IT and accounting on system testing and updates to enable smooth, accurate and timely monthly and forecast submissions.

Major Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting

  • Prepare / update reports for monthly reporting ahead of close week as well as for RF submissions.
  • Support identification and resolution of checks, address any errors or discrepancies before submission deadlines.
  • Support Polaris monthly and RF submissions, collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Support on audit requests.
  • Verify and publish final management reports to finance community for PR USA and PR North America.
  • Prepare monthly commentaries to the group.
  • Support team inputs for key presentations to CODI and HQ teams (monthly pack, QBR, QIM...).
  • Deliver timely communication of timelines, deadlines, expectations, and key deliverables related to each key deadline.
  • Review and analyze standard cost of goods sold.
  • Publish FX rates.
  • Complete AdHoc transfer price calculations and update transfer price database, serve as a liaison with HQ and affiliated entities for transfer price communications.
  • Work closely with IT and Operation Excellence team on all transformation initiatives to ensure systems are up and running and proper testing has been performed ahead of changes to ensure smooth reporting planning cycles.
  • Help onboard new analyst / new team members if relevant.
  • Develop own relationship with Paris HQ team, Corby, IT and North America Accounting teams.

Requirements

- Experience / Background:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a financial reporting, planning and analysis focused business analytics role with demonstrable career progression
  • Strong existing skills in Microsoft office
  • Hyperion Essbase / Tagetik existing knowledge preferable but not essential
  • Basic to advanced accounting principles knowledge a plus
  • Industry experience preferable but not essential

  • Highly motivated with a "roll-up the sleeves and get the job done" mentality, can work with autonomy to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Good relationship building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, great team player.
  • Growth mindset, with openness to change.
  • Interest in learning new tools and systems.
  • High attention to detail (accurate, checks), while maintaining sight of the big picture and understanding of "why."

- Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

- Estimated Travel:

  • Limited - position is office based. Possibly up to 1 weeks per year as needed for seminars or company events.
