Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) mission is to make Amazon our customer favorite and most trusted place for shoppable video, across formats and categories. The ASV Growth team is focused on driving audience, creator and revenue growth. We believe that customer’s benefit from awareness of video on Amazon, across all of their shopping journeys, and build nudges to increase loyalty and retention to our owned experiences. We build video creator programs and success initiatives to supply customers with third party produced shoppable videos, that surface both within our owned experiences and across Amazon, whether they are looking to explore, be entertained or make purchase decisions. We build partnerships that accelerate our flywheel and design monetization opportunities that delight customers and deliver results to advertisers. ASV Growth is seeking an experienced Product Marketing leader to drive awareness and engagement with video content creators, sellers and brand advertisers. As the Senior Manager, Creator and Brand Product Marketing you will own the development and implementation of marketing strategies to three audience cohorts. You will lead your team to go deep to understand their customers, utilize data to identify trends and build effective integrated marketing plans. You will set the direction and priorities for your team, and help them to develop professionally via coaching. You will partner closely with teams around the world, to drive video engagement.

This is a highly visible role which you will have an outsized impact. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter that is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy diving deep into performance data and analytics and be comfortable in fast moving, complex and matrixed environments. This role is highly cross-functional and you will be an excellent communicator both verbal and written. You are comfortable with executive interactions along with learning from and sharing best practices with partner teams. You must be able to think strategically, look at the business analytically, and execute flawlessly. The ideal candidate has experience with video content acquisition, social platforms or advertiser marketing. You will build and inspire a positive, high-energy, results-oriented culture in our team, creating a measurable impact.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the marketing strategy and success measurement to scale WW shoppable video content acquisition as well as to increase awareness and adoption of Amazon Live across creators, sellers and brand advertisers.

• Exhibit deep analytical ability and develop great expertise in Amazon’s proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyze and communicate data and insights to drive creator, seller and advertiser success.

• Set the direction and priorities for your team and help to develop your team professionally via direct coaching.

• Partner effectively with other leaders in BD, product, content and engineering to influence priorities and drive alignment.

• Partner effectively with cross-Amazon organizations to scale through others, finding opportunities to align objectives.

• Plan and deliver on executive level goals.

• Monitor project execution and ensuring that the delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates.

About the team

Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is a new strategic program that leverages the potential of video to help millions of customers find product inspiration, learn more about products they are interested in, and interact with great creators and their communities every day across the globe. We enable customers to find relevant content and explore our vast library of product focused videos on our home experiences across desktop, mobile and FireTV, and throughout their shopping journey on Amazon. We are very much a startup within Amazon aiming to reinvent the way customers use video to shop, and we are looking for motivated, thoughtful self-starters who can partner effectively across our multi-disciplinary teams to drive innovation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 5+ years of team management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in inter-team working skills to develop partnership with partner, tech team and operating at leadership levels

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
