The Senior Producer acts as the owner and leader of production planning, execution and delivery,

partnering with key stakeholders (internal, client, and partners) to uphold the integrity of ideas and

bringing them to life through best-in-class execution. At the center of Creative, Client Partnerships,

Business Affairs, and PM, the Senior Producer owns a project from start to finish. They manage

production budgets, timelines, production partner searches, competitive bidding/negotiations,

actualization, and internal/external communications.

The Senior Producer approaches every task with a sense of urgency, proactivity, and organization. They

must define the best, most-collaborative approach that aligns with VaynerMedia’s unique, consumer-first

approach to marketing while relentlessly pursuing progress. You safeguard the financial integrity and

timeline of the project with Agency and Client requirements, needs and goals in mind. You are a master of

transparency at every step of the way. You expertly navigate what’s best for each step of the process

while tracking the big picture.

The Senior Producer is a Creative partner who brings their personal expertise, honed critical thinking and,

above all, excellent problem solving skills to each project. They develop a path to achieving each projects’

goals and then rally partners across functions to achieve those goals, while finding creative solutions to

roadblocks standing in the way of a great idea going out into the world.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Own content production of all types of creative assets, including, but not limited to video, photo,

experiential, digital OOH, OOH, radio, etc.

● Understand executional requirements and considerations for assets that may live across multiple

social, streaming, and traditional platforms, gathering needed inputs and ensuring efficient

production throughout the process

● Partner with Creative to establish a clear executional point of view and push to improve creative

through execution and craft, while raising flags in a constructive, solutions-oriented manner

● Have deep experience in a full range of production approaches, including in studio, on location,

scripted, docu-style, etc.

● Have a clear understanding of post-production processes including experience with VFX,

animation, CGI, etc.

● Clearly communicate timelines, budgets, deliverables, goals and expectations with internal team

members, external partners, and clients.

● Have strong project and time management skills with the ability to focus on priorities, problem

solving, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines.

● Be a communicative & collaborative partner with Agency’s sister production company, Eva, to

build strong ties, efficient processes, and best-in-class delivery

● Lead vendor searches for a director, editor, music house, photographer, etc., including evaluation

of vendors, bid solicitation, negotiation, and contracting

● Work closely with Business Affairs to negotiate talent rates, clearances, copyright issues, and

usage rights

● Discover and create opportunities for emerging production talent both at the agency and within

the industry, understanding that diversity and inclusion is expected

● Be client facing as needed

● Mentor junior producers

● Staying current on production partners that work with the agency’s model of being agile and cost

effective, while delivering on creative excellence.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● 6+ years of experience in agency production; more experience is preferred

● Experience working across a range of Fortune 500 clients and industries, particularly Beauty,

CPG (especially food and beverage, including alcohol), entertainment, and banking / financial

services.

● Experience working with 3rd party production consultants when required

● Experience working with industry standard unions (SAG/AFTRA, DGA, AFM, etc.)

● Possess a good solid knowledge of the necessary technical know-how and craft skills associated

with various channels (TV, print, digital, experiential, activation, and social)

● Have an aptitude for creative problem solving and are ok asking questions while seeking to be a

resource for others

● Ability to think ahead, contingency plan and avoid problems

● Ability to develop solid team relationships through excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

● Excellent written, oral, and email communication skills.

● Enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented attitude.

● Ability to work under tight schedules in a high-stress environment.

● Ability to manage expectations and offer organization and clarity for others

● Ability to speak with vendor partners or team members about any issues that may arise during a

production

● Adept in the administrative system used for all agency jobs to create estimates, process vendor

invoices, manage and actualize budgets and properly close and archive projects

● Know when to engage the experts and when you can cover off technical conversations by

yourself

● Ability to master Google Workspace, Slack, Dropbox, we transfer, MAC OS, Excel, Word,

PowerPoint, Keynote (Adobe Suite & Workfront a plus).

● Able to work independently with limited supervision, and communicate up, down and laterally to

project stakeholders within the agency

Required Education and Experience:

● At least 6+ years of production experience at an agency; more experience preferred

● Experience at a production or events/experiential in a production management role a plus

Travel Required:

15-25% travel (domestic and international)

Salary : $110,000 -$150,000
