Description

We are in search of a IT Financial Analyst to join our team based in Orange, California. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting processes, ensuring our finances align with strategic goals and providing insights for informed decision-making. You will take ownership of FP& A systems, work closely with leaders across our organization, and be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Build detailed financial models from scratch to assess business performance, manage risk, and aid decision-making across departments.

• Analyze key financial metrics and trends to uncover opportunities for cost reduction, revenue increase, and process refinement.

• Conduct regular meetings with department heads to assess actual performance compared to budgeted targets, identify differences, and suggest corrective actions as necessary.

• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives, investment choices, and operational enhancements.

• Develop and update budgeting templates, tools, and protocols to streamline budgeting procedures and increase efficiency and precision.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to assure accurate and timely financial reporting, including involvement in month-end closing tasks and variance analysis.

• Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central to create dashboards and conduct data analysis.

• Draft and maintain Business Requirement Documents as part of the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning process.

• Carry out forecasting and modeling activities as part of the financial planning and analysis (FP& A) function.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure business goals are met.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Reporting Analyst role or similar

• Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI)

• Experience in drafting Business Requirement Documents

• Ability to create dashboards for data visualization and reporting

• Proficient in Data Analysis

• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Knowledge in Forecasting & Modeling

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficient in Tableau for data visualization

• Experience in Microsoft Power BI for creating business analytics reports
