The significant growth in resources demand driven by the energy transition and population growth, positions Jacobs to be the partner of choice for mining and resources clients. Our Australian-based Resources Hub aspires to accelerate a solutions-focused agenda concentrating on project delivery, decarbonising operations, ESG commitments, and digital enablement. We are looking for motivated people to lead the organisation through this exciting time and are currently seeking to appoint a Mining & Resources Solutions Director based in Perth, Western Australia.

The Mining & Resources Solutions Director reports to the Director for Market Solutions and will provide key leadership across this market. We seek someone who will identify and lead elements of opportunity differentiation and shape Jacobs’ solutions to meet market gaps. You will support our clients with tailored multi-discipline solutions, assist with strategic bids, and operate as a visible industry leader. We seek proactive individuals who can develop and implement best practices, ensuring a consistent approach to smart, sustainable, and digital solutions, for project execution. #LI-LM1234

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Genuine relationships with clients in the resource sector. A trusted and reliable profile in this market.

  • Extensive experience delivering projects for resource sector clients (Large multidisciplinary feasibility studies and EPCM delivery in the Iron Ore market are highly desirable).

  • The ability to partner with the Jacobs ANZ Market Director – Resources to deliver the Resource Market Plan and drive Jacobs’ growth in the resource sector.

  • The ability to proactively support the Operations team by identifying potential recruits and participating in strategic recruitment.

  • Assist with strategic bids to bring the best of Jacobs to our clients and contribute to the recruitment and workforce plan aligned with business goals.

  • An ability to collaborate and support internally and externally in the development and maintenance of the mining-focused Technical Leaders' Framework to suit the evolving needs of our clients.

  • An ability to identify transferable skills and resources in non-resource markets who can be upskilled.

  • Assure the quality of technical outputs through the appointment of suitably qualified Technical Leaders.
