Job Details Research and Outcome Management Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the research efforts of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. Responsibilities include writing and designing protocols, preparing IRB submissions, managing IRB approved projects, coordinating research teams and assisting teams with data analysis and publication submissions. In addition, coordination of the rehabilitation outcomes management is a component of this position. Participation on performance improvement teams and six sigma teams will be a requirement. Responsibilities: Research Development and Coordination: Coordinate the research development and implementation meetings for all rehabilitation related research projects. Prepare all IRB submissions with assistance from the research teams. Ensure all research protocols are carried out in accordance to IRB standards. Assist with the screening/identification/ and enrollment of potential subjects from the inpatient rehabilitation unit. Assist with maintaining the integrity of all collected data associated with research protocols. Database management and analysis of all data collected in association with any Rehabilitation research protocol. Outcome Management Coordinate with members or Rehabilitation Leadership to develop a comprehensive Rehabilitation Performance Improvement Plan on an annual basis. Ensure performance improvement plans satisfy CARF requirements for performance improvement and information management. Collect data for and maintain the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation scorecards. Provides Leadership with pertinent written and verbal reports on a timely basis and as requested. Collaborate with department directors/managers to identify opportunities for improvement and establish performance improvement projects. Utilizing Six Sigma, assist in the project management for any hospital project that may benefit from the utilization of Six Sigma for the performance improvement effort. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree or higher Skills, Knowledge or Abilities: Clinical research experience, or clinical experience Fluent in English Comfortable interacting with patients with neurological disease and their families Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task Excellent communication and time management ski Strong literacy, numeracy, and computer proficiency Salary Range USD $28.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
