Job Title : Software Architect - Backend

Location : Pune, India

Job Type : Full-time

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the technical vision for our Fusion Data Services team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software design, architecture, and development, and will play a critical role in the strategic direction of our data services.

You will report to the engineering lead of Fusion Data Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will define and implement the architectural strategy and roadmap for Fusion Data Services.

• You will collaborate with other architects and senior leadership to ensure understanding, consistency, and agreement on the broader architectural/product vision.

• You will provide technical guidance to the development team and oversee the design and implementation of software solutions to ensure architecture alignment.

• You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems as they arise.

• You will proactively and regularly make recommendations for continuous system improvements.

• You will collaborate with various partners to evaluate project requirements and play significant role in deciding the resource and project plan by balancing business needs and technical needs in both short and long term.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master degree in computer science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a software architect on commercial software product.

• 10+ years of experience with cloud platforms, services, and architectures, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong knowledge of data structures, software design patterns, relational and non-relational databases.

• Expert with microservices architecture and development.

Skills:

• Lead with example abilities on architecture design, troubleshooting and collaboration.

• Excellent in technical decision-making and communication with various levels of audience.

• Collaborate with large organisation and influence partners.
