Description

We are looking to hire a remote Sr. Accountant. The primary role of this position is to maintain our financial records, reconcile sales reports, and prepare financial reports. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the success of the company by positively supporting the company’s directives and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries.

• Perform statistical analyses to determine trends and changes in the company's financial reports.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analyzing financial information.

• Monitor compliance with GAAP and company policies.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconcile monthly sales report and adjust as needed.

• Suggest and implement systems for general accounting. Conduct studies and submit recommendations for improving the company's accounting operations.

• Audit employee expense reports.

• File and organize accounting documents.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant.

Requirements • Proficient in managing the General Ledger.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare and post Journal Entries with accuracy.

• Proven skills in analyzing Financial Statements to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.

• Experience with Consolidated Financial Statements is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of Financial Statement principles.

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

• Strong analytical skills to assess financial operations and recommend improvements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.

• Professional certification such as CPA is preferred.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to oversee junior staff.
