Controller - 190K-220K+bonus

The Director of Corporate Accounting/Controller reports to CFO with responsibility for oversight of all accounting and financial reporting functions.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and maintain regular Cash flow statement and projections.

-Oversee treasury management & bank account administration including coordinating with the company's payment automation process.

-Manage, monitor and review the month end accounting close process to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained

-Analyze and review the month end consolidation and the monthly management reports for accuracy

Perform monthly analysis and review of all entities’ general ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, consolidated financial statements and operational metrics

-Identify continuous operational efficiency improvement opportunities and partner across teams to propose and implement solutions.

-Maintain debt schedule and prepare financial reports and analyses requested by financial institutions.

-Develop, implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.

-Support on all matters related to property tax.

-Determine accounting policies and procedures by researching and interpreting accounting guidance.

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance

CPA, public/private experience

Real estate industry experience

Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills

Knowledge of Great Plains a plus or ERP systems implementation

Strong leadership/management skills
