Intel HR Payroll Accounting - Student Worker in San José, Costa Rica

Job Description

The Payroll team is a very dynamic organization committed to provide the best service to our employees by ensuring their payments are always processed correctly and in time. As a Payroll Accounting Student Worker, this person will be responsible for the preparation of reports for employee's compensation and benefits related items and statutory reports for example: Social Security, Income Tax, employee withholding, etc. Performs Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, investigation and clean up of reconciliation items in close partnership with Finance department and Payroll Operations. Team up with local and worldwide business partners to resolve issues. Leads/participates in process improvements and global projects. Manages payments to payroll suppliers and different institutions. Provides support for all financial and tax external and internal audits.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration

2+ years of academic course work related to accounting

Fluent in English

Advanced Excel knowledge

Preferred qualifications:

Payroll accounting experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
