Description

Robert Half is seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing financial team in San Luis Obispo! In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, and ensuring timely payments. This will be a temp-to-hire job opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness

• Verify purchase orders and receiving reports against invoices

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies

• Input and categorize accounts payable data into accounting software

• Schedule and process payments to vendors according to payment terms

• Reconcile accounts payable statements

• Maintain vendor accounts and contact information

• Assist with month-end closing procedures (as needed)

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree in Accounting a plus)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
