Amazon AI Business Value Specialist , GenAI in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical business value advisor to join our Generative AI GTM team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping our sales teams effectively articulate the business value of our AI solutions through rigorous financial analysis and quantification of potential returns. Your expertise in building compelling business cases, conducting ROI analyses, and demonstrating the financial impact of our Generative AI platforms will be crucial in driving sales and adoption.

Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand the specific needs and challenges of potential customers across various industries.

  • Create business value templates to help sales with financial analyses for opportunities

  • Help sales teams conduct in-depth financial analyses, including ROI calculations, NPV assessments, and payback period estimations, using already created templates to quantify the potential value of our Generative AI solutions.

  • Develop comprehensive business cases and value proposition narratives that resonate with decision-makers and demonstrate the tangible benefits of adopting our AI platforms.

  • Engage with customers and prospects to gather relevant data, validate assumptions, and refine financial models to ensure accuracy and credibility.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and position our AI offerings effectively.

  • Contribute to the creation of sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and ROI calculators, to support the sales process.

  • Participate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and negotiations, providing financial expertise and guidance as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 7+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
